An expression of the Grotesque Electronique. Atmospheres of disgust combat potential redemptions. A plunge into guilt-laden states as propellant to return; to health, to goodness, purity.

Recorded and sequenced in 'Apartment 100,' Brattleboro, Vermont, 2015/2016. Contains numerous recordings of New England places and people, a few whom departed the physical realm during the album's construction. They exist here, immortalized in frequencies that once carried their vocals.

My hard drive’s final act was to render these sounds. It died on the return trip, from Vermont to Michigan, dispelling years of recordings into the unknown digital ether; a .WAV mass floating to no sonic reception somewhere on the vast changeless highways of Upstate New York.
